Will Bynum scored 20 points to lead No. 11 Georgia Tech to a 73-66 victory Tuesday night over 10th-ranked Wake Forest, snapping the Demon Deacons' 24-game home winning streak in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Wake Forest (11-3, 2-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) was looking to tie its school record of 25 consecutive victories at Lawrence Joel Coliseum. Instead, the Deacons dropped their third straight game and first at home since Feb. 21, 2002.

The Yellow Jackets (15-2, 3-1) were aggressive early from 3-point range to take a lead.

(9) Kentucky 69, Tennessee 68 (OT): Chuck Hayes scored off his own miss with 3:49 left in overtime to lead Kentucky (12-2, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) to a victory over Tennessee (10-4, 2-3) in Knoxville, Tenn.

Seton Hall 74, (13) Syracuse 67: Kelly Whitney had 21 points and eight rebounds to lead Seton Hall (12-4, 2-2 Big East) to a victory over Syracuse (13-2, 3-1) in East Rutherford, N.J., snapping a number of streaks for both teams.

Rice 80, SMU 40: Michael Harris and Brock Gillespie scored 20 points each to lead Rice (12-4, 4-1 Western Athletic) to a victory over SMU (8-8, 2-4) in Houston.

DePaul 61, TCU 54: Drake Diener scored 12 points and Marcus Heard added 10 as DePaul (10-6, 3-2 Conference USA) beat TCU (6-10, 2-3) in Fort Worth.

Women

Iowa St. 69, (14) Oklahoma 51: Freshman Lyndsey Medders broke out of a long slump with 20 points, and the Cyclones (9-6, 2-2 Big 12) upset a ranked team for the second time in seven days, beating the Sooners (13-3, 3-2) in Ames, Iowa.

A&M-Corpus Christi 83, Huston-Tillotson 33: Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (12-8) recorded a team-record 17 blocks en-route to an easy victory over Huston-Tillotson (6-8) in Corpus Christi. The Islanders limited HTC to 12 field goals.
